On Friday April 7th the Career Services of the Law Department of Utrecht University, in corporation with Urios, the study association for international and European law, and Ad Informandum, the study association for Criminal law and Criminology, will organize the Courts Day in The Hague. Coordinators from both EU Law and Public International Law will be present, however this event is also open to other students who are interested in getting acquainted with the world of magistrates. The Courts Day will consist of a morning program at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and a special afternoon program at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), which is followed by an informal gathering at the end of the day where you will find the perfect opportunity to have a drink with several professionals from the field (the courts, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, international organisations, etc.) and expand your network. This event will, if successful, be implemented in the pilot program International Careers in the academic year 2017-2018.
